Indie-pop singer Lana Del Rey premiered her new song "Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind" on May 14. She expresses her worry for the future on the edgy cut.

"Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind" is a song Del Rey wrote last month after attending weekend one of the Coachella music festival. She teased it in a post on Instagram with the caption: "had complex feelings about spending the weekend dancing whist watching tensions w North Korea mount." Well, the full single arrives on the heels of news that North Korea recently launched a test missile.

Compared to Del Rey's recently released "Love" and "Lust for Life" with The Weeknd, "Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind" is the most Born to Die-sounding of the bunch. Her trip-hop sound returns with a drum machine and haunting backing vocals. Lana draws parallels between Coachella and Woodstock '69 while praying for the safety of the flower crown-wearing attendees. "I'd trade it for a stairway to heaven / I'd take my time for the climb up to the top of it," she sings, alluding to the Led Zeppelin classic. "Coachella" is a dark and dreamy tune that manages to capture that music festival feeling.

"Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind" is now available on iTunes and Apple Music. No word yet if it will be included on Del Rey's upcoming Lust for Life album. Listen to the track above.
