Hip-hop artist Lil Yachty premiered his collaboration with Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen on Feb. 10. The two teamed up on a cover of the 1988 hit "It Takes Two."

As part of a campaign with retailer Target, Lil Yachty and Jespen recorded a new version of Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock's "It Takes Two." The single marks Carly's first release since her E•MO•TION: Side B EP last year and follows Yachty's breakthrough hit "Broccoli" with D.R.A.M. Target aims to get the party started with the throwback remake.

Hip-hop producer Mike WiLL Made-It was behind Lil Yachty and Jepsen's version of "It Takes Two." It opens on an atmospheric note before the familiar "whoo-yeah" beats come in. Yachty spits Rob Base's iconic "I wanna rock right now" line then slips in some new rhymes. Carly gets soulful on the chorus and doubles as a hype woman, singing, "Bringing new moves to the old school." The two do just that on this faithful yet fresh cover.

Lil Yachty and Jepsen's "It Takes Two" is now available on iTunes and Apple Music. The two are set to premiere a Target commercial featuring the song during tonight's Grammy Awards telecast. D.R.A.M. and Yachty are also nominated for Best Rap/Sung Performance for "Broccoli."
