Mariah Carey has kicked off the new month with a brand new single “A No No Song.” The track is the latest release from the charismatic pop diva's highly anticipated new album Caution, which will hit shelves Nov. 16 via Epic.
The five-time Grammy winner unveiled the new single on Nov. 1 via Twitter on the heels of announcing a 2019 U.S. spring tour last week, which launches Feb. 27 in Dallas, TX, at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory. “A No No Song” is the fourth track to be released from Caution, following the lead singles “GTFO,” “With You” and “The Distance.”
“A No No Song” opens with a series of keyboard pushes and segues into a mid-tempo groove. Mimi's lead vocals flow easily over a series of smooth jazz chord changes as she launches into the first verse, singing, “I ain't even mad /No not like before/Off with your head now/Slither out the door.”
Co-produced by Carey, Caution features 10 tracks, including the single “With You.” The album is the beloved chanteuse's 15th studio album and is available to preorder here in a variety of bundles in CD, digital and vinyl formats. The “Hero” hitmaker will head to Europe for a string of overseas dates as part of her annual “All I Want For Christmas” tour launches Dec. 1 in Stravanger, Norway, at Sormarka Arena. Prior to the launch of her 2019 U.S. tour, Carey will hit Sin city to launch a winter residency, which will take place Feb. 13 and Feb. 21 in Las Vegas at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
