Nine Inch Nails announced their next album, Bad Witch, last week and now they've finally given us a taste of what it will sound like. The lead single is called "God Break Down the Door." During an interview with Beats 1's Zane Lowe, Trent Reznor talked a bit about the song:
"I was just kind of going, an hour performance kind of turned into this thing that felt like we hadn’t been there before and that started to reveal a whole different character. The space changed and then we felt motivated. When it came time to sing I was really just trying things out, just to see. I never had the courage to sing like that, I didn’t know I could sing."
He also went into detail about the trilogy of EPs. You can check out the interview here. Bad Witch is the final entry of the ongoing NIN trilogy, which features 2016's Not the Actual Events and 2017's Add Violence. Bad Witch drops June 22. Pre-order your copy and exclusive merch bundles here.
