Colombian superstar Shakira premiered her new song "Nada" on May 19. She returns to her rock roots on the ballad.

"Nada" (English: "Nothing") is one of the songs on Shakira's upcoming album, El Dorado. It follows lead single "Chantaje" featuring Maluma and "Me Enamoré." While both aforementioned songs saw her experimenting with reggaeton-influenced music, "Nada" is a welcome return to that classic Shakira sound fans first fell in love with.

Shakira penned "Nada" with longtime producer Luis Fernando Ochoa. He co-produced the track with Supa Dups, the man behind some of Drake's recent hits. The guys supply Shakira with piano and hard-hitting percussion as she pleas for her man to come back. The singer's heartbreaking performance reaches soaring levels. For fans waiting for another Shakira power ballad, "Nada" is everything.

"Nada" is now available on iTunes and Apple Music. Shakira's El Dorado will be released on May 26. The album will also feature her hit collaboration "La Bicicleta" with Carlos Vives.
