U.K. pop group Steps released the new song "Story of a Heart" on April 20. The quintet takes on a tune by ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson.

"Story of a Heart" is a song on Steps' new album, Tears on the Dancefloor. The group's latest follows previously released track "You Make Me Whole" and lead single "Scared of the Dark." From all the offerings so far, "Story" sounds most like the Steps fans grew to love in the late '90s.

"Story of a Heart" originally is a song by the Benny Andersson Band written with his bandmate Ulvaeus from ABBA. Much of Steps' early hits were influenced by ABBA and the two are finally joined by "Heart." The '70s Euro-pop production fits like a sequined glove around Claire Richards, Faye Tozer and Lisa Scott-Lee's voices. The ladies breathe new life into this heartbreaking tale. "I was safe and warm and now I'm out in the cold," the group sings. "Story" sounds familiar yet fresh with Steps' wholehearted rendition.

"Story of a Heart" is now available on iTunes and Apple Music. Steps' Tears on the Dancefloor album will be released on April 21.
