Art-pop outfit Tune-Yards recently stopped by the Spotify Studios In New York City to record a Spotify Singles session. The duo--comprised of singer and multi-instrumentalist Merrill Garbus and bassist Nate Brenner--put down a live recording of “ABC 123” from their latest, I Can Feel You Creep Into My Private Life, as well as a cover of the 1983 Eurythmics classic “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).” You can listen to Tune-Yards’ Spotify Singles session below.

Tune-Yards' I Can Feel You Creep Into My Private Life is the follow up to their 2014 album Nikki Knack. Besides working on their first album in four years, Tune-Yards also recently wrote the score to Coup frontman Boots Riley’s directorial debut, "Sorry To Bother You," which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. As Pitchfork reported, Tune-Yards also linked up with "Sorry To Bother You" star Lakeith Stanfield’s band Moors for a collaboration called “Mango.”

Tune-Yards are set to hop on David Byrne’s American Utopia tour in September ahead of a headlining show at The Mayan in Los Angeles. Click here to browse AXS for tickets to select Tune-Yards dates.
