Whitesnake continues to build anticipation ahead of the release of its upcoming 13th studio album Flesh & Blood, which will hit shelves on May 10 via Frontiers Music. The multi-platinum sellers have unveiled an official audio track for the latest single “Trouble Is Your Middle Name.”
The “Here I Go Again” hitmakers debuted the song on March 13 via Twitter and other social media. “Trouble Is Your Middle Name” is the follow up to the album's lead single “Shut Up & Kiss Me,” which dropped last spring.
The ode to a femme fatale opens with blues-flavored guitar riff as sirens howl in the background. A descending bass line sets up a pumping rhythm to back frontman David Coverdale as he launches into the first verse, singing, “Thinking 'bout the good times baby/Remembering the bad.”
Flesh & Blood features 13 tracks and is available for preorder here in a variety of standard, deluxe and limited editions in CD, digital, and vinyl formats. Fans can check out the official audio for “Trouble Is Your Middle Name” above and view the recently released official video for “Shut Up & Kiss Me” here.
The veteran British rockers will launch a U.S. tour in support of Flesh & Blood, which will kick off April 12 in Newkirk, OK, at First Council Casino Hotel. The spring romp will include a big stop on April 23 in Clearwater, FL, at Ruth Ekerd Hall, before wrapping up May 18 in Niagara Falls, NY, at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino.
