The Soundset Festival in Minneapolis takes place every year thanks to Atmosphere, an underground rap institution that has a huge cult following. The festival has gotten bigger and bigger every year and always features legends in rap and hip-hop, indie rap talents and some mainstream acts as well. This year, the 10th anniversary of the festival, is no different.

Taking place on May 27, the 2018 Soundset Festival will take place at the Minnesota Fair Grounds and will feature over 40 artists performing at the Memorial Day weekend event. Atmosphere will headline the event, as usual, but will share the headlining duties this year with Logic and Migos. If that sounds strange, the rest of the lineup is just as eclectic.

Names like Erykah Badu will join mainstream acts like Tyler, The Creator and rap legend Ice-T. Fans of the Wu-Tang Clan will also get a special performance as the band celebrates the 25th anniversary of the release of Enter the 36 Chambers

There is also the chance that old-school rap fans could get a special surprise. Jaden Smith, the son of rap superstar Will Smith, will be performing. Also on the show is DJ Jazzy Jeff, the man who broke into the hip-hop scene with Smith, making one wonder if a mini-reunion of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince might be on hand.

Migos, one of the headliners, is on tour right now across the country and will perform at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA, on April 16. AXS has tickets for that show available now (buy tickets here).
