Two nights after opening the regular season against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Clippers will welcome the Phoenix Suns to Staples Center. As part of the home opener on Oct. 21, all fans in attendance will receive an opening night t-shirt and an LED wristband.
The giveaway is the first in a long line of promotions designed to give back to the fan base. The team has already scheduled more than 20 such promotions, including broadcasting legend Ralph Lawler socks and a Blake Griffin LED watch. Those giveaways will take place later in the season.
The t-shirt and wristband will create a unique atmosphere, where fans will get to see the new-look Clippers for the first time. Patrick Beverley, Danilo Gallinari, Milos Teodosic, and several other role players will all be appearing in a Clippers uniform for the first time.
By teaming up with various sponsors–like Cedars-Sinai, Agua Caliente Casino Resorts, and Kia–the Clippers are creating an exciting fan experience. Approximately half of the Clippers home games will feature giveaways.
Several bobbleheads, featuring Blake Griffin, Teodosic, and more, are also planned for the 2017-18 season.
