LP takes on today's injustices in 'No Witness' music video

Pop singer-songwriter LP premiered the music video for "No Witness" on Sept. 29. In the heavy clip, they take on the social issues of today.

"No Witness" is latest single from LP's Lost on You album. It's turning out to be quite the visual release with clips previously put out for the title track, "When We Were High," "Other People" and "Tightrope." LP teamed up with Ricky Luna and usual suspect Mike Del Rio to write "Witness." The brassy and bumping production comes down like a ton of bricks as LP gets lost in the struggle. "No one can save me, love me or hate me," they sing. LP bears witness to a devastating pop-rock stomper.

In the music video for "No Witness," LP bravely tackles today's injustices. While LP sings the track, there are violent images shown of a gay couple bloodied from getting beat down, a man hitting the pipe and a white child shooting an African-American one. It's a dark but powerful clip that LP uses to shed light on issues that need more attention.

"No Witness" is now available on iTunes and Apple Music. LP's Lost on You album was released last December.
