"Camera Roll" follows the release of her debut single "Over You", which will reach its one-year anniversary on March 7 after having racked up more than 300,000 views on YouTube. According to the new single's press release, 2017 also saw Blaise named as one of the Top 10 finalists in the Macy's iHeartRadio Rising Star competition, so she's starting off the new year with plenty of momentum as well as new music. In addition to the release of "Camera Roll," she is working on her debut EP that she expects to have finished later in spring 2018.
Audiences likely recognize Blaise from her recurring part on the ABC sitcom "Fresh Off The Boat," where she plays the character of Nicole, the main character's first crush and daughter of his next-door neighbor. While she's made audiences laugh and smile on television, she's doing the same in her music career with this new single, in which the narrator talks about her relationship through the pictures on her cell phone's camera roll (hence the title). The charisma she has as an actress continues to come through in her music, and she's combining the two on her spring 2018 tour.
