Lynyrd Skynyrd announces 2019 summer farewell tour of UK and Europe

Lynyrd Skynyrd is taking its Last Of The Street Survivors Tour overseas in 2019. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers will say farewell to fans across Europe and the U.K. with a nine-city trek, which will take place in June.

Classic Rock reports on Nov. 6 that the “Sweet Home Alabama” hitmakers will receive support from Atlanta rockers Blackberry Smoke and veteran British rockers Status Quo on select shows. The new dates come on the heels of a recently announced 2019 spring tour of Canada with special guest Randy Bachman, which kicks off March 2 in Ottawa, ON, at Canadian Tire Centre.

Produced by AEG Presents, the European romp begins June 17 in Erfurt, Germany, at Messehalle. The multi-platinum sellers will hit numerous major cities with visits to Berlin, London and Glasgow, Scotland, before wrapping up June 30 in Birmingham, UK, at Resorts World Arena.

Lynyrd Skynyrd recently dropped a new release “Live In Atlantic City,” which hit shelves via Earmusic on Sept. 21 and is available here in a variety of digital and audio editions in CD, DVD, Blu-ray and digital formats. Fans can check out a performance of their signature song “Sweet Home Alabama” from the concert film above.

Fans in the U.S. and Canada can catch the multi-platinum sellers as they continue their fall tour of North America, which continues Nov. 9 in Grand Rapids, MI, at Van Andel Arena and will wrap up Dec. 8 in Biloxi,. MI, at Mississippi Coast Coliseum.
