Lynyrd Skynyrd to keep the party rolling on fall tour
YouTube/Lynyrd Skynyrd on MV

Lynyrd Skynyrd is to Florida what Willie Nelson is to Texas.

This band represents the best of what southern rock is all about, southern fried heaps of roaring guitars, stellar drumming, and gritty lyrics. If “Sweet Home Alabama,” one of the best southern rock tracks ever released, didn’t give you the calories that you may pack on while listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, then you need to cut on Spotify and get you eat on.

Formed in 1964 in Jacksonville, FL, Lynyrd Skynyrd has produced major hits other than “Sweet Home Alabama.” There is, of course, “Free Bird,” which can easily rival the popularity of the former track. After a plane crash in 1977 nearly derailed their commercial career, the band regrouped, and has turned themselves into one of the hottest acts on the tour circuit.

Speaking of touring, Lynyrd Skynyrd is back on the road this fall on their “Keep The Party Rolling On” tour, which began toward the end of August and is now heading into the fall stretch to please all of the southern rock fans in the south.
