Macklemore announces the Gemini North American Tour

Rapper Ryan Macklemore announced his upcoming North American tour on Wednesday, which comes just a week after he released the music video for “Marmalade” featuring Lil Yachty. The 19-date tour will start off in Portland, Ore. on Oct. 6, and runs until Nov. 14.

Macklemore stuck with a lighter theme in his tour announcement video, which can be seen below. The Seattle rapper suits up to show off his archery skills (or lack thereof) and considers acquiring a genital piercing before deciding to hit the road ahead of the release of his upcoming LP.

Speaking of the upcoming album, Macklemore has yet to officially announce his full-length follow up to his 2016 collaboration with Ryan Lewis in This Unruly Mess I've Made. Macklemore will be without his equally famous producer/collaborator in Lewis this time around. The two are reportedly still on good terms professionally, and so far Macklemore’s two singles in “Marmalade” and “Glorious” featuring Skylar Grey have been received pretty favorably. By the scheduling of the Gemini Tour, fans should assume that an album could arrive around shortly before or around the holiday season.

Tickets for select shows on the upcoming tour will be going on sale starting this Friday, Aug. 11, and can be purchased by clicking here.
