"El Préstamo" (English: "A Loan") is the latest single from Maluma's upcoming album, F.A.M.E. It follows his all-genre Billboard Hot 100 charting hits "Felices Los 4" and "Corazón." He teased a few hip-hop tunes in between like "GPS" and "23" but returns to his Latin pop sound on "Préstamo." Spanish guitar and sunny synths back him trying to reclaim his love from an old flame. He's back on his playful playboy ways, blowing kisses on the song. Maluma lends his fans another rhythmic and irresistible dance track.
Like pretty much all other Maluma music videos, his latest for "El Préstamo" easily crossed 100 million views in a month. Currently, the cinematic clips sits at over 122 million visits. Maluma and his on-screen love interest rob a bank together then she leaves with the loot and leaves him behind with the police. It's left on a cliffhanger with a "To Be Continued" finale.
"El Préstamo" is now available on iTunes and Apple Music. No word yet on when to expect Maluma's F.A.M.E. album. The reggaeton artist is currently traveling the U.S. on the F.A.M.E. Tour.
