Maroon 5 and Cardi B have bumped Drake out of his Billboard Hot 100 throne as “Girls Like You” claims the top spot for the week ending Sept. 29, Billboard reports. “In My Feelings” ended its 10-week chart reign and effectively dropped to No. 2 on the chart.

This latest chart coup marks Maroon 5’s fourth Hot 100 chart-topping hit in six years. Their last chart-topper was the 2012 hit “One More Night,” which led the chart for nine weeks. Frontman Adam Levine isn’t taking the track’s chart success for granted, either. He reportedly told Billboard reaching the milestone again is “a dream for this band,” adding, “We had confidence, but when you've done this for as long as we have, you are always aware that there are no guarantees until the people have spoken. For this to happen all these years later is truly a special gift."

Cardi B also has reason to celebrate in the wake of “Girls Like You’s” latest feat. She is now the first female rapper to score three No. 1 singles on the Hot 100 chart. Here’s something else: The song is the first pop song to lead the Hot 100 chart since “Havana” by Camila Cabello feat. Young Thug held the position on the Jan. 27 charts. Since then and until now, rap songs have dominated the chart in an unbroken 34-week chart rule.

“Girls Like You” hails from Maroon 5’s 2017 sixth studio album, Red Pill Blues, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The Cardi B remix version dropped in May 2018 as the album’s third single and notably made a huge jump on the Hot 100 climbing 90 places from a No. 94 debut all the way to No. 4, upon its first week of tracking after the music video dropped.

The video features a number of notable female cameos including Camila Cabello, Sarah Silverman, Gal Gadot, Mary J Blige, Rita Ora, Millie Bobby Brown, Jennifer Lopez and many more. Levine’s wife Behati Prinsloo and their daughter Dusty Rose notably appear near the end of the video, which has amassed over 952 million views on YouTube since its May 30, 2018 post date.

Adam Levine just launched season 15 of "The Voice" with returning veteran coach Blake Shelton competing once again against Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Hudson as they all vie to lead their teams to a victory. Maroon 5 continues the Red Pill Blues Tour with a special multi-night engagement at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on Dec. 30 (Tickets) and Dec. 31 New Year’s Eve (Tickets). Maroon 5 will also notably headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2019. Stay tuned to AXS for Maroon 5 updates.
