The masked EDM DJ known as Marshmello has shared his first batch of concert dates for the coming year. Announced over the weekend in the form of a fun and colorfully animated music video, Marshmello's upcoming 2018 winter concerts will start with a two-night run at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Jan. 12-13, and will wrap just under a month later in Buffalo, NY.
The seven total shows included in Saturday’s announcement will carry over what has been a pretty exciting 2017 for the mysterious electronic artist and producer. The Joytime DJ performed at a number of big festivals and events earlier this year, including the Billboard Hot 100 Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Governor’s Ball, Coachella, Bonnaroo and even had his own headlining show at Denver’s picturesque Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Needless to say at this point that Marshmello has come a long way since uploading his first track to SoundCloud back in 2015.
Two of the other notable dates on his 2018 schedule include a pair of gigs in Brooklyn, NY as part of his Marshmello Warehouse events. New York City (especially Brooklyn) is known around the world for its history of underground dance and warehouse parties when it comes to the history and evolution of house and electronic music. The location for both nights of the Marshmello Warehouse have yet to be revealed, but one should assume that they'll be a pretty epic experience for those into the wild world of EDM.
