Michelle Branch announces summer tour in support of 'Hopeless Romantic'

Michelle Branch will bring the sounds of her brand new album Hopeless Romantic to North American audiences on a summer tour. Branch recorded the long-awaited project in Nashville under the guidance of her boyfriend, Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney

With a new indie pop sound, Branch charts everything from her divorce to motherhood to dating to finding love again. And she'll carry that newfound love with her when she hits the road this summer with Carney in tow.

“He’s gonna be touring with me all summer long, which is wild because I feel like I’m the only person who’s never seen the Black Keys live — I’ve always been touring or traveling or can’t get tickets or whatever,” she told People. “It’s like, ‘How is it that I’ve never seen you play, but I’ve seen you all summer play ‘Are You Happy Now’ and ‘Everywhere.’ So it’s cool. We’re lucky we get to spend time together on the road together because I know once Black Keys ramps up again, I’ll take him while I’ve got him!”

Branch's North American tour kicks off on July 6 in Chicago and takes her around and back to Nashville, where she'll wrap at Marathon Music Works on Aug. 12 (click here for tickets). Check out all the dates below and hear her belt out "Best You Ever" above.
