Mick Jagger has Rolling Stones fans feverishly speculating after a photo surfaced online of the iconic British rocker in the recording studio with British grime artist Skepta. The Stones have been heavily rumored to be in the studio working on a follow up to their hugely successful 2016 studio album Blue & Lonesome.
NME reports on July 10 that the UK rapper posted a photo of The Stones frontman and himself to his official Instagram account on Monday. The picture shows the pair outside a recording booth with Skepta leaning against the wall with a cigarette in hand and the “Satisfaction” hitmaker sitting beside the rapper in a chair, pointing at a third party who is not shown in the photo.
Very little information is shared in the post. Skepta revealed to NME in May that he had no immediate plans to concentrate on a new studio album and it remains uncertain whether the the pair are working on a solo project for Jagger, Skepta or a track for The Rolling Stones new studio album.
