Microsoft got the ball rolling at E3 2017, the world's leading computer and video game event taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center June 13-15, 2017. The company behind the popular gaming console Xbox had plenty of announcements, including the reveal of their codename Project Scorpio, which was revealed to be their new 4k gaming system the Xbox One X (check out the trailer below).

Along with console and system announcements, Microsoft also revealed some new Xbox and Windows 10 exclusive games. Most excitedly, the PC shooter "Playerunknown's Battlegrounds" will be coming to Xbox One sometime later this year. Other exclusives include "Sea of Thieves," "Crackdown 3," "The Last Night," "Ori and the Will of the Wisps" and, of course, "Forza Motorsport 7" (check out all the trailers below).

Microsoft also hinted Xbox backwards compatibility will be coming, which will allow original Xbox games to be played on the Xbox One and feature enhanced graphics for older games played on the new console. This news was only slightly teased, so more details are expected soon.
