Rap trio Migos are kicking off their latest record with a bang. After debuting their new song "MotorSport" at Power 105.1's Powerhouse concert at the Barclays Center last week, the group has released the official studio track, and the star-studded track features Cardi B and Nicki Minaj over its six-minute assault. Listen to the song above.
Quavo takes the chorus and first verse of "MotorSport," spitting about his extensive car collection and driving through North Atlanta. He references the infamous "Deflategate" scandal with the New England Patriots, referring to himself as head coach Bill Belichick as he "take(s) the air out the ball, just so I can flex."
The second verse belongs to Offset, who raps about his green Lamborghini and Ferrari 488 and compares himself to illusionist Criss Angel as he can "make dope disappear." He's followed by Cardi B, who thinks of herself as the "trap Selena" and references Daddy Yankee's popular hit "Gasolina." Minaj takes the last verse as she calls herself "Iron Mike in a bout," "Rap's Jackie Chan" and references Lil Uzi Vert, Boosie BadAzz and her recent track with Yo Gotti "Rake It Up," which was certified platinum in the U.S.
The group will play the first-ever New Year's Eve on the Rocks Show at Denver's Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Dec. 31, which will also feature performances from Post Malone, Young Thug and Lil Yachty. Tickets are still available exclusively on AXS.com.
"MotorSport" is the first release from Migos' upcoming album Culture II. While no release date has been announced yet, the trio has packed a punch on its first single. Make sure to keep it here for the latest Migos news and tour information as it drops.
