This year's iHeartCountry Festival promises to be bigger and more dynamic than ever! Miranda Lambert, Sam Hunt, Florida Georgia Line, Zac Brown Band and Keith Urban are among the first artists revealed for the festival, slated to return to Austin, Texas on April 30. Tickets go on sale this Friday (Jan. 15) at 10 am CT.
The lineup also includes Brett Eldredge, Cole Swindell, Lee Brice, Thomas Rhett and Chris Young. The artists will, once again, perform at the Frank Erwin Center.
Radio personality and media guru Bobby Bones is set to host the event.
Following a year of personal upheaval, Lambert is, presumably, expected to release a new album in 2016, the follow-up to 2014's diverse Platinum LP. After her very-public divorce from fellow Nashville singer and songwriter Blake Shelton, Lambert has since been linked to musician Anderson East, who also happens to be featured on Dave Cobb's upcoming Southern Family disc (which also includes Lambert and a bevy of other American, folk and country talent).
Zac Brown, The Black Crowes' Rich Robinson, Shooter Jennings, Holly Williams, Brandy Clark, Jason Isbell and John Paul White also contribute to the project, out everywhere March 18.
Likewise, Hunt and Urban are, reportedly, ironing out their brand new albums, as follow-ups to Montevallo and Fuse, respectively. Both albums are anticipated to drop later this year, too. Details to come.
