Modern Baseball heading to Dallas on 2017 headlining tour in April

Modern Baseball has just announced a 2017 headlining tour this year and will be bringing three exciting bands out on the road with them. The Gas Monkey Bar & Grill announced via Twitter that Modern Baseball will be playing their venue in Dallas on April 5 and tickets for the concert goes on sale this weekend. While it’s not mentioned in the tweet, Kevin Devine & The Goddamn Band, Sorority Noise, and The Obsessives will serve as opening bands.

Modern Baseball was out on tour in the United States in 2016 along with Brand New and the Front Bottoms.  That tour, which took place in October and November 2016 never hit Dallas, although they did play in El Paso and Corpus Christi. Now that they are headlining their own tour, they have lined up three major Texas stops, starting with Houston on April 3 and then moving to Austin the next night and Dallas the next night for the Gas Monkey.

Modern Baseball is currently overseas playing shows in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the U.K., and much more. They will wrap up the international portion of the tour on Feb. 18 and then hit the United States market one month later. They will play 29 concerts and finish things up on April 22 in New Jersey.

Tickets for the Modern Baseball Dallas concert go on sale on Jan. 6 here. Prices for the April 5 concert at the Gas Monkey start out at $20 for general admission and go all the way up to $500 for premiere cabanas.
