Veteran rock and roll jam band moe. have announced the return of their annual moe.down Festival in upstate New York next summer. The popular band from Buffalo announced the 17th installment of their annual event on Monday, just days following their “Night At The Arcade” Halloween show in Philadelphia on Saturday where they treated fans to debuts of classic video game themes sprinkled in throughout their set.
moe.down will return to Snow Ridge in Turin, New York this coming summer during Independence Day weekend on Thursday, July 4 through Saturday, July 6. The three-day event, which had typically taken place towards the end of summer during Labor Day Weekend, will include seven sets from moe., in addition to performances from other artists yet to be announced. Unfortunately, moe.down didn’t take place this year due to moe. Bassist Rob Derhak’s cancer treatment, but thankfully the band is back and rocking to rave reviews on their ongoing 2018 fall-into-winter tour.
Fans can visit the event’s official website for ticketing and lineup information, which will be revealed in the coming weeks. Artists who played at the last moe.down event back in 2017 included Blackberry Smoke, Fishbone, Railroad Earth, Twiddle and more, so fans should be excited to see who and what the band has in store for their glorious return in 2019.
Speaking of the 2018 tour, the band’s November and December concert schedule includes a run of upcoming performances throughout the southeast U.S., including Orlando’s The Plaza Live, Saint Petersburg’s Jannus Live and Saint Augustine’s Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. Tickets for select shows on the band’s remaining 2018 schedule are on sale now, and can be purchased by clicking here.
