MONSTA X announces 2018 US Tour

The boy band from South Korea known in the K-pop world as Monsta X are returning to the United States this summer, with seven shows scheduled to start in late July and run through early August. The seven-piece pop group revealed their upcoming world tour plans earlier this week, which includes shows in most major U.S. markets including Chicago, Newark, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco and a gig at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater to close out the run on Aug. 3.

Since forming back in 2015 on a South Korean survival show titled “No.Mercy,” the group has released a handful of EPs and one full-length album which have all reached the top 5 in South Korea’s Album Sales charts. The Clan Pt. 2.5: The Final Chapter, which was released almost a year ago last March, impressively peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s World Album Sales chart, selling over 125,000 units in the band’s home country.

The upcoming run is Monsta X’s second world tour, as the band made their first ever trip to the U.S. last summer as well, playing to venues like New York City’s PlayStation Theater and two nights a Los Angeles’ The Novo. Inquiring ticket buyers can check out AXS’ review of last summer's PlayStation Theater concert to get an idea of what to expect from the growingly popular boy group this time around.

Tickets for select shows on the upcoming tour will be going on sale to the public starting next Thursday (March 8) at 4 p.m. local time, and can be purchased by clicking here. Their full U.S. tour itinerary can also be seen in the list below.
