MUNA Saves The World 2019 tour announced with Chelsea Jade

All it took was a single party in Los Angeles, California for Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson to realize that they have musical chemistry. The three met while attending the University of Southern California and began to collaborate utilizing their musical prowess to experiment with electronic pop and pop-rock genres. Eventually, the three women came together to form the band now known as MUNA. All three members of the group identify as queer and have become advocates for the LGBTQIA for using their platform to address sexuality and genre norms.

Now, after the release of three successful EPs, two studio albums, and backing from both RCA and Columbia Records MUNA is preparing to release their third official musical offering entitled Saves the World on Sept. 6. In combination of the release of their latest full-length project, the "Winterbreak" producers have announced that they will be hitting the road alongside South African-born singer/songwriter, Chelsea Jade. MUNA's Saves The World Tour kicks off on Sept. 16 and comes to a close mid-Oct.
