Music Tastes Good 2017 announces lineup: Ween and Sleater-Kinney to headline
Music Tastes Good

Music Tastes Good, one of the best new festivals in recent memory, is back with their 2017 lineup and it is killer. Headlining the two-day event are avant-garde jam masters Ween along with pioneering trio Sleater-Kinney. Joining these two are even more diverse and talented acts, like soul master Charles Bradley, British shoegazers Ride and the return of Dr. Octagon, one of the best Kool Keith personas. If that's not enough, MTG is bringing along of Montreal, Los Lobos, !!!, Big Freedia, Broncho, Alvvays and much more.

Last year's gathering was a stellar show for a first-time festival, especially one without any major corporate sponsors. This year keeps the same vibe, teaming with local chefs to provide quality food and 89.9 KCRW as the radio ambassador. And as the name implies, MTG will focus on the food. From the festival:

"With an amplified focus on their culinary program food this year, Music Tastes Good's new 'Taste Tent' will assemble some of the top chefs from both Southern California and the Bayou, for what organizers are calling, a 'Port-to-Port' experience, a cultural exchange of flavors and ideas between Long Beach, New Orleans, and their surrounding communities."

September can't come soon enough, but tickets will go on sale next Friday, May 12. Head to the official website for the entire lineup and chef selection and stay tuned to AXS.com for all things music, festivals and more!
