Washington based indie pop-rock band Sub-Radio are pleased to premiere their new music video “What Are We” right here on AXS. The video finds the guys more focused on starting a band instead of paying attention to their frustrated lady friend. Fun fact: the music store at the beginning of the video, Action Music, has sold a lot of guitars to Dave Grohl. You can watch the video above.
Vocalist Adam Bradley gives us more insight to the video saying:
“All six of us love this band and each other so much that it can distract us from basically everything else in our lives. The video captures both the idea behind the song as well as the relationships we have with each other. And with pizza.”
Bradley also shared some interesting facts about the new video:
“This was the first time we’ve ever had our makeup down. #glowup. The song was played over the speakers exactly 114 times and the movie theater was complete rented out. We had to show up at 5:30 in the morning to film that scene.”
The new single comes from Sub-Radio’s newly released EP, Headfirst. Stream and pick up a copy here. The band is currently on tour in support of the release. The tour will hit up cities like Baltimore, Virginia, and their hometown of Washington. During the outing, they’ll also make appearances at various festivals including the Pride festival in Washington DC, the Herdon festival, and the Artageous Art and Music Festival in Nags Head, NC.
