My Morning Jacket announce 3-show New Year’s Eve residency at 1STBANK Center

My Morning Jacket will be sending 2017 out with a bang, having revealed a three-night residency at 1STBANK Center in Broomfield, Colo. leading up to New Year’s Eve to close out the year. Revealed on Monday morning, the three concerts, which will take place Dec. 29, 30 and 31, will feature headlining performances from My Morning Jacket with support from Prince’s band The Revolution, tUnE-yArDs and the always entertaining Charles Bradley & his Extraordinaires.

My Morning Jacket have been touring around North America since late June, and recently headlined Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York last month. A fan also recently paired various fan-shot photos and cell phone clips from the show with the pro-recorded audio of the concert that was originally broadcasted on WFUV FM radio. The news of the New Year’s eve run follows the band’s recent announcement of their own “One Big Holiday” destination event. The mini festival will take place in the Dominican Republic in March and will also feature performances from Portugal. the Man, Spoon and more.

Pre-sale for the three New Year’s eve concerts will start this Thursday, Aug. 10 at 12 p.m. EST, with general on sale tickets starting on Friday, Aug. 11 at 12 p.m. EST, and can be purchased by clicking here.
