The Denver music scene has been very kind to Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats and for the third straight year (or maybe the tenth, who's counting?) the soul and rock combo will be giving back to the Colorado community with a pair of holiday concerts.
Rateliff and his nocturnal perspirators will be performing at the Ogden Theatre on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 15-16; Flaural is slated to open the first show and The Still Tide will perform the following night. Pre sale for the concerts kick off this Thursday, Nov. 2, with the general on sale beginning the next day, Nov. 3 at 10am. Get your tickets for night one and night two right here on AXS.com.
As they have in the past, a portion of the proceeds of the shows will benefit local non-profits. The first show will benefit the Boulder-based Emergency Family Assistance Foundation, which "helps those in our community whose immediate needs for food, shelter and other basic necessities cannot be adequately met by other means, and supports their efforts toward financial stability or self-sufficiency." The second show will help support Veterans Homeless Services, Volunteers of America-Colorado whose mission is to connect "Veterans and their families with services and assistance to meet each individual’s specific needs."
So while you never need an excuse to see one of Denver's best and most beloved bands, these holiday benefit shows might provide a little extra incentive. Visit the band's AXS page to get tickets to these very special concerts and watch their video for "Wasting Time" above.
