Sustaining reality TV fame can be hit or miss, but Chris Young is a clear success story, as he celebrates his eighth Number One song on the ten year anniversary of his “Nashville Star” win. Young nabbed the top prize on the now-defunct TV music competition in 2006 at age 20, scoring a record deal with Sony Nashville.

Think of You,” a duet with Cassadee Pope (another reality TV spawn), is the second single off Young's fifth studio album I'm Comin' Over. The song, which is the follow-up to the album's Number One lead single and title track, hit the prime spot after just 15 weeks on the country airplay charts, an exciting feat for the baritone star.

“I remember having 15-week songs that didn’t break the Top 40,” Young told The Tennessean. “It’s just incredibly fast. It’s a really, really cool feeling.”

Young just extended his I’m Comin’ Over Tour with 25 more dates, kicking off in September. Special guests on this leg include Pope, Dan+Shay, and Dustin Lynch.

Young admits he’s excited for the social aspects of the tour. “I’ve been friends with Dan + Shay and Dustin Lynch for a while now, so to have them join me on tour and to have Cassadee back out with us again, it’s going to be a blast,” Young said in a statement.

Young says he has worked hard to create a high-quality show for fans. “I’ve been trying to grow where I’m at and the level of show that I’m giving to people,” Young said. “There seems to be a lot of stuff cooking in a lot of really good ways right now. I think it’s telling being able to take such a strong line-up out as well. I think we’re offering people a really, really cool show.”
