Chris Young's Duluth Dec. 3 tour stop cancelled due to sickness

Chris Young had to put off a tour date due to his health that was scheduled for Dec. 3, 2015. The Boot shared the bad news that Young's performance that was scheduled to happen in Duluth, Minn. at the Amsoil Arena had to be postponed after Young became ill with strep throat. Young let his fans know that the show would not be happening and that the tickets they had already purchased would be honored and refunds would also be available where the original tickets were purchased if they could not come back out for the rescheduled date.

Young has already scheduled a new date to happen for the canceled show at the Amsoil Arena in Duluth, Minn. on Jan. 9, 2016. Young had extended his I'm Comin' Over World Tour to keep the shows going through 2016 in January and February and has Cassadee Pope joining him on the road during his tour stops. Young has dates lined up in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, New York, and Baltimore plus many stops in between those shows.

Young shared the bad news with his fans on Facebook by posting “I never want to disappoint you, but I’ve been advised by doctors that I cannot perform today.” Young added “… Again, I’m really sorry to let you down, but I plan to see you early in 2016. Love you guys!”

Young's bad news comes as he has been doing nothing but celebrating the success of his latest album titled I'm Comin' Over hitting the top of the album charts and keeping his number one spot with his single "I'm Comin' Over" for a third week. Young has held the number one position on the charts in 2010 with his hit "The Man I Want To Be" making "I'm Comin' Over" his second single to stay at the top spot for three or more weeks. Young was getting ready to perform on "Today" when Matt Lauer shared the big news with Young that his latest hit reached the number one position on the charts.
