Fall Out Boy announce 2015 UK dates

The announcement was made Jan. 14, 2015, and was posted on Fall Out Boy’s official website and Facebook page. On Fall Out Boy’s Facebook page, the band wrote “Stoked to be coming back to the UK later this year on the American Beauty/American Psycho tour.” The fan reaction was swift and mostly positive, with many fans posting on Facebook that they hoped the band would expand the tour. It is unknown at this time if Fall Out Boy will announce additional tour dates. Want to catch the band on its upcoming tour of the UK? Then check out the band’s website for concert dates and venue information. Tickets go on sale starting on Jan. 16 at 9 a.m.

The upcoming tour is in support of Fall Out Boy’s album, American Beauty/American Psycho. The album, the band’s sixth since forming in 2001, will be released worldwide on Jan. 20 via DCD2 and Island Records; the band has already shared audio-only music videos of tracks from the upcoming album via its YouTube channel. American Beauty/American Psycho follows the band’s 2013 album, Save Rock and Roll. The band has posted personal thoughts and links to each track via its Facebook page. The upcoming album is available for pre-order, and several singles from the album are available for purchase.

Outside of the UK tour, the Chicago-based band will perform release shows in London at Islington Assembly Hall on Jan. 14, and in Chicago at Lincoln Hall on Jan. 24. In February and March, the band will perform in Australia, at Rodeo Houston, and in Japan. Check out the band’s website for additional tour information.
