Fall Out Boy

If you’re a fan of Fall Out Boy, then your winter is about to heat up. The rock band has announced their upcoming tour, Wintour, with electronic rock musical act AWOLNATION and alt-band PVRIS set to perform, too. Here’s what Fall Out Boy fans need to know.

The tour kicks off Feb. 25, 2016, with a show at Coliseo De Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Heads up: That show will be Fall Out Boy only. Other stops on the tour include New York City, Des Moines, Memphis, New Orleans, and the band’s hometown of Chicago. Wintour wraps up March 26 in Irvine, California, at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre. Details for Wintour are on the band’s website. The tour was announced Oct. 12 with a post on the band’s official Facebook page, as well as via Medium. Fall Out Boy teased fans with news of the tour in the days prior to the official announcement, leaving fans to speculate regarding what would be announced.

What about tickets? You’ll want to mark your calendar. The pre-sale starts Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. local time, and tickets will be available for purchase by the general public starting Oct. 16. Additional details on the tour are available via Fall Out Boy’s website, and via Medium.

As if a tour announcement isn’t enough, Fall Out Boy also announced a new version of the single “Irresistible,” with Demi Lovato, would be released on Oct. 16. The original version is on the band’s latest album American Beauty/American Psycho, which was released earlier this year. Take a listen to the original version of "Irresistible" on the band’s YouTube channel.

You don’t have to wait until next year to see Fall Out Boy on stage. The Chicago-based band is in the midst of a tour of Europe, with upcoming shows that include Munich, Paris and Moscow. Fall Out Boy will also perform Dec. 3 in Fairfax, Virginia, and Dec. 7 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Check out the band’s website for the full tour schedule.
