On June 23 the American band Foster the People announced in an issued press release headlining tour dates for the fall of 2014. The North American tour begins Aug. 28 in Anchorage, Ark., and ends Nov. 15 in Santa Barbara, Calif. You can view a complete list of tour dates below.
During Foster the People's fall of 2014 headlining tour the band will perform 30 concerts around the U.S. and Canada over a month and a half long time span. The Velvet Teen, Fitz & The Tantrums, and Sylvan Esso will provide support on select dates. Prior to their fall tour the band will perform at such music festivals as Lollapalooza in Chicago, Reading Festival, Leeds Festival, X-Fest in Canada, and Osheaga Festival.
Foster the People will be touring around the U.S. and Canada this fall in support of their second studio album, Supermodel. The album was released on March 18 via Columbia Records and it reached No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart. It was the follow-up to their highly successful 2011 debut album, Torches which was certified Platinum by the RIAA.
On June 23 the band also unveiled a new animated video for their song “Pseudologia Fantastica." The video was conceptualized and directed by lead vocalist Mark Foster with additional direction and animation by Hannes/Johannes. You can watch the “Pseudologia Fantastica" video here.
