HyunA twerks it out in comeback music video for 'Red'

K-Pop queen HyunA launched her comeback with the premiere of the music video for "Red" on Sunday, July 27. The singer goes full on Miley Cyrus in the raunchy clip, twerking with backup dancers and partying hard.

"Red" is the lead single from HyunA's latest EP A Talk. It marks her solo comeback to the music scene since releasing the Melting EP in 2012. HyunA put out music with her group 4Minute and sub-group Trouble Maker alongside Beast's Hyunseung over the years while fans waited for her return. She is now ready to reign supreme once again with the bonkers video for "Red."

Compared to HyunA's past singles like "Bubble Pop!" and "Ice Cream," "Red" is fifty shades of messy with an electro hip-hop sound that is all over the place. Her rap game is on-point, though, as she boasts about red lipstick that brings all the boys to the yard. "Red" is not the kind of comeback expected for a K-Pop star of HyunA's caliber but she certainly supplies a club banger that would make Miley proud.

Among the K-Pop scene, HyunA is known for her ultra sexed-up concepts. The music video for "Red" is definitely her most raunchy venture yet. Like a cross between a clip directed by Terry Richardson and Diane Martel (both past Cyrus collaborators), HyunA twerks in booty shorts, rides a banana and poses topless with a monkey. Call it the K-Pop version of Miley's "We Can't Stop" video painted in a sea of red. HyunA rises to the wild occasion in the clip for "Red" and proves that she's still the baddest chick in the K-Pop game.

HyunA's A Talk EP was released to iTunes in South Korea on July 28. Her last EP, Melting, dropped in Oct. 2012 and it peaked at no. 5 on Gaon's weekly music chart.
