Wango Tango, 102.7 KIIS FM’s long-running, one-day, pop extravaganza, has just announced an unbeliebable addition to the 2015 roster of acts, adding pop superstar Justin Bieber to an already amazing lineup.
Bieber is set to join a packed Wango Tango bill, a list of acts that includes Kanye West, Calvin Harris, Nick Jonas, David Guetta, Meghan Trainor, Ne-Yo, Sia, and Jason Derulo.
The announcement comes on the heels of a news-filled week for the Canadian singer. There were brutal albeit hilarious scenes this past Monday, as Bieber was a roastee on the “Comedy Central Roast” program. Also, the singer sat down with USA Today and gave a glimpse into his career and life at the moment, an interview that signaled that the 21-year-old singer was at a pivotal moment in his career, “I'm growing, figuring some stuff out. As you do when you grow up. You figure out what type of man you want to be, that's where I'm at.”
Bieber also dropped some details about his long-awaited fourth, proper studio album, his first since 2012’s Believe. For the upcoming album, Bieber enlisted the help of super-producer Rick Rubin and fellow Wango Tango headliner Kanye West. “I don't want to say ‘it's different,’ because that's what everyone says. But it is different, it's a grown-up version of Justin and I think people will be shocked.”
With that statement, it’s definitely an exciting time to be a Belieber. For those in the Los Angeles area, Bieber’s appearance at Wango Tango will be a perfect opportunity to perhaps hear new material, as well as see the singer in one of the few live shows he has booked so far in 2015.
