Kacey Musgraves makes her ‘Pageant Material’ debut

Kacey Musgraves has released the follow-up album to her highly successful debut album Same Trailer, Different Park with her newest album titled Pageant Material. Musgraves headed to "The View" to make her TV performance debut of her new album’s first released single which is the title track according to Taste of Country.

Musgraves latest song “Pageant Material” was co-written by Luke Laird and Shane McAnally. The newest release from Musgraves seems to fit right in with her style of music even though she didn’t write the song herself. Musgraves has some big plans and a busy schedule lined up to share her new music with her fans.

Musgraves recently announced her 2015 Country & Western Rhinestone Revue tour that kicks off in Atlanta Aug. 27, 2015 at The Buckhead Theatre and wraps up in in Amsterdam Nov. 22, 2015. International tour dates includes stops in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands.

Musgraves has a busy summer jam packed with tour dates before her Country & Western Rhinestone Revue tour starts up in August. Musgraves is set to take part in Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picnic at the Austin 360 Amphitheater in Austin, Texas.

The long list of artists joining Musgaves at Nelson’s Fourth of July celebration includes Eric Church, Merle Haggard, Sturgill Simpson, Asleep At The Wheel, Jamey Johnson, Jason Isbell, Leon Russell, Billy Joe Shaver, David Allan Coe, Chris Stapleton and Asleep At The Wheel.

Musgraves decribed her new music by saying “It’s just kind of a satirical song poking fun at myself for not being pageant-perfect all the time.” Musgraves continued by saying “I'm inspired by real life” adding “Things I’m going through. Things friends and family are going through. One thing that I really love about country music is that it’s always been just about real life
