Kelly Clarkson just celebrated her very first Thanksgiving as a mother. The first winner of “American Idol” made it quite memorable. According to a Friday, Nov. 28 report by US Magazine, Kelly Clarkson dressed her daughter, River, up as a turkey.

Little River Rose did not wear a complete turkey costume. Instead, she wore a knit turkey hat. The brown hat had several red, orange, black and brown knit feathers. The hat was complete with a turkey face that consisted of two black eyes and an orange turkey beak.

The singer shared the photo of River Rose through Twitter. She posted the photo, wishing all of her Twitter followers a happy Thanksgiving.

“Happy Thanksgiving from my little turkey head!!! [sic]” Kelly Clarkson tweeted on Thanksgiving. “#thankfulfor my family and friends :) [sic].”

Kelly Clarkson is the daughter-in-law of Oklahoma's own, Reba McEntire. She is married to Brandon Blackstone, a talent manager. She and Blackstone were married in June of this year.

Not only is Kelly Clarkson Reba McEntire's daughter-in-law. She is also the country music superstar's duet partner. The two talented ladies joined forces on a country song, “Because Of You.”
