Paul McCartney returns to Seattle, with a show scheduled for Key Arena on April 17.
It’s part of a West Coast swing that begins April 13 in Fresno, California at the SaveMart Arena, includes an April 15 date at Portland’s Moda Center, followed by the Seattle date, and then two shows April 19 and 20 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, B.C.
McCartney last played Seattle on July 19, 2013, at Safeco Field. That show memorably concluded with an extended encore featuring the surviving members of Nirvana. Could the same kind of thing happen again? Former Nirvana drummer/current Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl is based in Los Angeles, and there’s no L.A. date on the current leg, so — stay tuned.
Presales for the April 17 show begin on Thursday, March 10, through Ticketmaster. VIP Package presales start at 8 a.m., with American Express Cardmember presales starting the same day at 10 a.m. Venue/Promoter presales begin March 12 at 10 a.m. The general public sales begin March 14 at 10 a.m.
