Paul McCartney a big hit for Phillies fans on All-Star Game night

While baseball's All-Star Game was being played in San Diego on July 12, Paul McCartney took over the Philadelphia Phillies' Citizen's Bank Park with his One On One Tour. The Phillies paid tribute to him with a sign saying, “The Phillies welcome Paul McCartney.” A fan report on the McCartney message board said the Beatle was in good voice and that “Maybe I'm Amazed” got the loudest ovation of the night. There was also a note on the message board to a fan with a huge sign. “To the obnoxious girl in row 7 who brought the tri-fold, 5-foot poster to @PaulMcCartney #OneOnOne, we hate you. Love, everybody behind you.”

The set list, which was released Tuesday by Paul McCartney's press office, was unchanged from the previous show: “A Hard Day’s Night,” “Save Us,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Letting Go,” “Temporary Secretary,”. “Let Me Roll It,” “I’ve Got A Feeling,” “My Valentine,” “Nineteen Hundred and Eighty-Five,” “Here, There and Everywhere,” “Maybe I’m Amazed,” “We Can Work It Out,” “In Spite Of All The Danger,” “You Won’t See Me,” “Love Me Do,” “And I Love Her.” “Blackbird,” “Here Today,” “Queenie Eye,” “NEW,” “Fool On The Hill” and “Lady Madonna.” Additionally, he also played "FourFive Seconds,” “Eleanor Rigby,” “Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite,” “Something,” “Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da,” “Band On The Run,” “Back In The USSR,” “Let It Be,” “Live and Let Die,” “Hey Jude,” Encore:“Yesterday,” “Hi Hi HI,” “Birthday,” “Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End.”

An unconfirmed report said that at the soundcheck he played “Jam,” “Honey Don't,” “Magical Mystery Tour,” “Coming Up,” “C Moon,” “Let Em In,” “I've Just Seen A Face,” “Alligator.” “I'll Follow The Sun,” “San Francisco Bay Blues,” “Midnight Special” and “Lady Madonna.” The next show is July 17 at Fenway Park in Boston.
