Paul McCartney has confirmed he will be returning to the nation’s capital. McCartney last played in Washington, DC in 2013 at Nationals Park. This time Paul’s brand new One On One Tour will make a stop at Washington D.C.’s Verizon Center on August 9, 2016. Tickets for the Washington D.C. date go on sale Monday, April 25 at 10:00am EST.

As with every Paul McCartney tour, One On One has a dazzling set featuring dozens of classics songs from his incredible catalog of music. Selections span Paul's entire career including his hits as a solo artist, as a member of Wings and as a Beatle. Opening to rave reviews, One On One is the first new Paul McCartney tour since he capped off his incredible 2015 tour, in which he played 27 shows in 22 cities throughout the world. McCartney even made an historic debut in South Korea, delighting the crowd at Seoul Olympic Stadium. Fan’s at the show refused to stop singing the refrain to “Hey Jude” forcing Paul to reprise the song in the first encore, playing that signature bass-line live for the first time.

Seeing Paul McCartney live is an experience every music lover dreams of and Paul certainly gives all a fan could ever want from a rock concert. His performances offer nearly three hours of some of the greatest songs from the last 50 years in music, many of which have formed the soundtrack to life’s most memorable moments. Touring with Paul will be his band for over ten years which includes Paul "Wix" Wickens on keyboards, Brian Ray on bass, guitarist Rusty Anderson and drummer Abe Laboriel.
