Paul McCartney announced April 4 on his official website he was adding four new dates to his growing One On One Tour, making a total of 22 shows all together. The earliest new shows are three dates in Argentina on May 15 at Alberto Kempes Stadium in Córdoba and May 17 and 19 at the Estadio Unico de la Plata in Buenos Aires. He'll also play June 27 at Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning, Denmark.
He announced that presales for tickets for the Denmark show begin through his official website at 10 a.m. CEST-Central European Standard Time/9 a.m. BST-British Summer Time) on April 5. The Argentina pre-sale also begins through his website Tuesday, but at 12 noon local time or 4 p.m. BST-British Summer Time. The Argentina shows had been rumored back in March. Newspapers reported the shows had been confirmed but didn't announce any dates.
The tour will open just over a week away on April 13 at Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. Other North American shows will take place in Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; North Little Rock, Arkansas; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and Minneapolis, Minnesota, plus two Canadian show in Vancouver, British Columbia. After North America, the tour moves to South America for the new Argentina shows, the only South America shows on the itinerary so far, then Europe to play Dusseldorf, Germany at the end of May, and Paris, Madrid, Munich, Berlin and now Denmark from May into June. The tour will also hit two rock festivals in June in the Netherlands and Belgium.
