Macca is Back.

On Wednesday, rock icon Paul McCartney announced the first seven dates of his new One On One Tour, which will bring a newly-redesigned production to several markets that have never had the chance to see the Beatles legend in person.

McCartney will play his first-ever concert in Fresno, CA when the One On One Tour launches on April 13 at the SaveMart Arena. The tour then moves on to a series of dates in the Pacific Northwest, including McCartney’s first show in Portland, Oregon in almost 11 years and back-to-back nights at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC, before wrapping with a pair of smaller market shows in Little Rock, Arkansas and the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, SD.

General on sale for the One On One Tour begins on March 14, while American Express cardholders can get pre-sale tickets beginning Thursday, March 10 at 10am local time.

These dates are McCartney’s first since the Out There Tour wrapped last October with McCartney’s first performance in Buffalo, New York. In addition to performing in 22 different cities across the globe last year, McCartney had a renaissance of sorts thanks to several collaborations with contemporary artists like Kanye West, Rihanna and Britney Howard of Alabama Shakes.

The announcement of McCartney’s highly anticipated tour comes just one day after news broke that Beatles producer George Martin had passed away at the age of 90. In an extensive message posted to his website, McCartney referred to Martin as “a second father” and remarked that “he was the most generous, intelligent and musical person I’ve ever had the pleasure to know.”

McCartney is expected to add additional shows to his One On One Tour; visit PaulMcCartney.com for additional dates and details. For more on Paul McCartney and tickets to the One On One Tour, keep it here on AXS.com.
