Paul McCartney's Out There! Tour will be coming to Philadelphia June 21, he announced April 24. The show will take place at Wells Fargo Center. The show was one of those to be announced that we first reported exclusively on April 23.
Tickets for the new show will go on sale Friday, May 1 at 12 noon local time. American Express Card Members will be able to purchase tickets before the general public beginning Tuesday, April 28 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, April 30 at 10 p.m. Tickets for all Paul McCartney shows are also available here. The June 21 show will be McCartney's first appearance in Philadelphia since the August 14-15, 2010 shows on his Up & Coming Tour.
The Out There! tour already has shows in the United States at the FireflyMusic Festival show June 19 in Dover, Delaware and the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago on July 31. McCartney also played one previous U.S. show this year, a small-hall show at New York City's Irving Plaza on Valentine's Day that was supposed to be secret though word of the show managed to creep out in advance.
McCartney's Out There! tour is currently in Japan and Korea for a series of shows running through May 2. Then it will move to Europe starting May 23 with concerts in Great Britain beginning with two shows in London, then featuring one in Birmingham and one in his home town of Liverpool. Then the tour will head to Marseille in France, Amsterdam in the Netherlands for two shows, back to France for a show in Paris, then single shows in Oslo, Norway and Stockholm, Sweden.
