Paul McCartney has confirmed a total of five new North American shows this week for the month of October. The iconic British pop-rocker will bring his Out There Tour to a few familiar haunts in the U.S. and Canada along with making first-ever stops on Oct. 15 at State College, Pennsylvania, at Bryce Jordan Center and Oct. 22 in Buffalo, New York, at First Niagra Center.
The legendary ex-Beatle revealed the news via an update posted Aug. 25 at his official Paul McCartney website. The two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has already performed 22 concerts in 2015, having previously made stops this year in Japan, South Korea, the U.K., as well as a summer visit to the U.S, which included a historic headline performance on on July 31 at Lollapalooza.
Macca will kick off the fall jaunt on Oct. 13 in Columbus, Ohio, at Nationwide Arena. It will be the "Band on the Run" hitmaker's first visit to the city in a decade.
The 21-time Grammy winner will also make return visits to Toronto's Air Canada Centre on Oct. 17 for the first time since 2010 and to Detroit's Joe Louis Arena on Oct. 22 for the first time since 2011. The arena romp is currently scheduled to wrap up on Oct. 22 in Buffalo.
Pre-sales for select U.S. shows begin Aug. 27 at 10:a.m. EDT. Tickets for U.S. shows go on sale to the public on Mon., Aug. 31 at 10 a.m. EDT. Tickets for select U.S. shows are available at AXS.

The former Wingss star recently announced the latest in an ongoing series of reissues from the Paul McCartney Archive Collection, which will include 1982's Tug of War along with 1983's Pipes of Peace. To celebrate the reissues Macca announced Monday that he is giving fans an exclusive free download of ‘"Take It Away" [Single Edit] (2015 Remaster) not available on the 2015 reissue.
