He’s one of the most iconic figures in the history of pop music and a veritable rock legend, and he’s coming to Minneapolis.
This spring, Paul McCartney will hit the road for his One On One Tour, a short run of dates that will take the Beatle singer-songwriter through cities that he’s seldom visited or never played before. The One On One Tour sees McCartney trying out an extensive, brand new set that features plenty of technical stage wizardry and that will run through Paul’s hits with the Beatles, as well as his solo career and his time in Wings. This series of dates is his first since his mega-successful 2013 Out There Tour.
Among stops in the Pacific Northwest and the West Coast, Sir Paul will also hit a few dates in the Midwest, including two nights at the Target Center in Minneapolis on May 4 and 5. Initially a one-night engagement, popular demand called for a second date, which is unsurprising. The last time Paul played the Twin Cities, he sold-out Target Field with one of the most memorable concerts in Minnesota that year.
The One On One Tour kicks off April 13 in Fresno, and besides the Minnesota dates, McCartney will also perform at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, and the Verizon Arena in Little Rock. Check out the full list of dates below.
