Nickelback fans will have an opportunity to purchase three of their most popular studio albums in vinyl this summer. The multi-platinum sellers have announced the upcoming reissues ofSilver Side Up (2001), The Long Road (2003) and All the Right Reasons (2005) on July 6 via Rhino Records.
The 12-time Juno winners unveiled the news on May 17 via their official Nickelback website ahead of the North American launch of their massive 44-city Feed The Machine Tour. Two of the titles - The Long Road and All The Right Reasons – are receiving their first ever vinyl release and will be reissued along with their huge U.S. breakout album Silver Side Up, which spawned their chart-topping single “How You Remind Me.”
The three titles represent the essence of the enduring Canuck rocker's career success in the early 2000s and are responsible for a collective total of 19 million unit sales in the U.S. alone. The reissues will each be pressed in heavy duty 140-gram vinyl in a standard LP sleeve.
“As a vinyl collector myself, I am elated that Rhino will be releasing three of our albums on vinyl this July,” writes Nickelback guitarist Ryan Peake in a media release. “Each of these albums were pivotal for us in so many different ways and to be able to share them in this format, with our supporters, is humbling.”
All three titles are now available for preorder. For more details, click here.
