With Hurricane Harvey devastating much of southern Texas, with Houston taking a huge beating, there have been many people step up to help lend a hand to those in need. The DFW area is holding a huge fundraiser to help those affected by the deadly hurricane with the Night of Hope. This is a concert event that takes place at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie on Sept. 30 and all proceeds will go to Convoy of Hope.
Some of the top Christian bands in the nation will converge on Dallas for this very special event. Included in the lineup are Mercy Me, TobyMac, Casting Crowns, for KING & COUNTRY, Zach Williams, Natalie Grant, Danny Gokey, Phil Wickham, Josh Wilson, Chonda Pierce, Laura Story, Brandon Heath, Jason Roy of Building 429,Tauren Wells, Moriah Peters, Chris August, Jason Crabb, Wayne Watson, PLUMB, and John Tibbs.
Thousands of people have lost their homes and many are living without power. Convoy of Hope claims to have already donated millions of dollars of food and supplies to those in need. They are working with local churches and businesses to pass out food, water, and hope to those in need. The money brought in by the Night of Hope concert will add more funds to the Conboy of Hope so that they can continue to help all those who are still suffering.
Tickets for the Night of Hope Dallas concert are on sale now through AXS (Tickets). Prices for the benefit concert at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie run from $25 to $65 and the music starts at 6 p.m. CST on Sept. 20.
